Project Description
The main goal of the Joint EU-UN Programme is to enhance the quality of life and socio-economic conditions of the rural population in Abkhazia, with a particular emphasis on agriculture, ensuring equal benefits for both men and women as well as specific groups like individuals with disabilities or minority ethnic communities.
Project Objectives
The joint program aims to achieve change through three specific objectives: increasing consumer and producer protection by raising awareness of food safety and promoting Good Agricultural Practices at the farm level, strengthening the resilience of rural communities through improved agricultural practices, enhanced local expertise, and diversified income sources, and promoting community empowerment, social inclusion, and cohesion through community-led local development initiatives.
