The EU is supporting SMEs through 100+ projects in the Eastern Partnership region

The project receives funding from the European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development in Georgia (ENPARD – Georgia), specifically under its fourth phase (ENPARD IV).

The regional project, commissioned by the European Commission (EC) and undertaken by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), aims to facilitate the transition and foster sustainable and equitable economic growth models in the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries.

Project Objectives: Identify the needs of the local communities in target regions, promote of development and/or enhancement of tourism and agricultural value chains, improve skills and competencies through vocational education for target groups in rural areas, strengthen rural development in target regions.

Project Green Guria aims to enhance rural development and democracy in Georgia's Guria region, particularly in Ozurgeti, Lanchkuti, and Chokhatauri Municipality.

The project aims to bolster Georgia's Competition and Consumer Protection Policy to align with its commitments under the EU-Georgia Association Agreement.

Project Objectives: improve production capacity of local businesses through a quality control laboratory for agricultural products, crops, diary and wine; assure economic activity and social inclusion through improved technical tools, skills, know-how and capacities of all individuals and businesses involved in agricultural production value chain and tourism.

This project seeks to enhance Oni Municipality's economic competitiveness by establishing and nurturing business clusters to attract potential investors.
