Project Description
Within the project, the implementing European food safety institutions work closely with Georgian colleagues for legal approximation. They also align national rules and procedures with EU standards and build capacities in food safety, veterinary, phytosanitary, and SPS border control.
Project Objectives
The project targets aligning legal acts with EU standards, improving official control planning, developing contingency plans for infectious animal diseases, creating disease status road maps, implementing plant pest monitoring, updating institutional instructions, and capacity building in various areas.
