Project Description

Implemented by GIZ with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, it aims to rebalance economic and social activity in Georgia's Guria, Imereti, Kakheti, and Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti regions. CESL supports urban renewal, tourism development, and income generation to promote economic and social rebalancing in alignment with national decentralization and inclusive growth goals. Project Objectives

The project's specific objective is to help municipalities, businesses, and citizens in PIRDP regions unlock their untapped economic and social potential. Expected outcomes include municipalities transforming spaces into vibrant places, catalyzing income generation and economic activity, and empowering institutions to leverage untapped economic and social opportunities.
