The EU is supporting SMEs through 100+ projects in the Eastern Partnership region

The main goal of the Joint EU-UN Programme is to enhance the quality of life and socio-economic conditions of the rural population in Abkhazia, with a particular emphasis on agriculture, ensuring equal benefits for both men and women as well as specific groups like individuals with disabilities or minority ethnic communities.

The "EU4Moldova: Local Communities" project, backed by the European Union, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Austrian Development Agency, and Polish aid, aims to enhance the quality of life and tackle the economic and social impacts of COVID-19 in chosen Moldovan communities, promoting their long-term resilience.

The project empowers Moldovan CSOs to establish social enterprises for sustainable community growth.

The “Support to Quality Infrastructure in Armenia” project, developed jointly by UNIDO and the Armenian Government and funded by the European Union, aims to continuously strengthen the NQIS in Armenia, especially the metrology system for trade competitiveness and sustainable industrial development.

The project was originally aimed at improving the economic situation in the communities of Chernivtsi region through the implementation of local economic development (LED) plans.

The project, part of ENPARD's fourth phase, aims to improve food safety and promote agricultural exports. It focuses on enhancing capacities within the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, supporting producers and food businesses, and facilitating the export of Georgian agricultural products, particularly to the EU market.

The AZTAF program offers various activities that match the four main focus areas of the EU-Azerbaijan Partnership Priorities: improving institutions and governance, boosting economic development and market access, enhancing connectivity and environmental efforts, and promoting mobility and interpersonal connections.

The project significantly contributes to strengthening both the institutional and human capacities of GEOSTM. It enhances Georgia's standardization and metrology infrastructure, ensuring it can provide tailored services to stakeholders.
