EU innovative action for private sector competitiveness in Georgia

Project Description

The project is part of EU4Business support in Georgia, aiming to assist entrepreneurs, improve the legal environment and access to finance, and strengthen ties with the EU. It aligns with the 2017 Annual Action Programme for Economic and Business Development, working closely with government ministries and engaging stakeholders in the private sector. This collaborative effort involves multiple UN agencies, each contributing expertise.

Project Objectives

The main aim is to boost private sector competitiveness in Georgia by enhancing capacities of the government and local entrepreneurship. This includes strengthening policymaker and stakeholder abilities in cluster development, establishing clustering approaches in key sectors, supporting strategic investments in crucial companies, and integrating migration considerations into SME development.
