Project Description
The EU for IMPACT Armenia project seeks to enhance the welfare of Armenian labor migrants, returnees, and their families by mobilizing remittances for local development and fostering job creation in Armenia.
Project Objectives
Overall the objective of the action is to contribute to empowerment of Armenian labour migrants, returnees and their family members through mobilising remittances and investing in local development and job creation in Armenian.
The program targets the following beneficiaries:
- Current (labour) migrants who have been a minimum of one year abroad in the last three years.
- Returnees Armenian national returned to Armenia, having resided a minimum of one year abroad in the last three years.
- Family members of both above-mentioned categories of migrants, permanently residing in Armenia.
The Action will target at a minimum one hundred and fifty migrant start-up businesses in all Armenian Marzes.
