EFSE – EU4Business: Local Currency Lending to MSEs in the Eastern Partnership

Project Description

The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE), among the leading development finance funds globally, seeks to promote economic development and prosperity in Southeast Europe and the Eastern Neighbourhood Region. It achieves this by investing in the growth of micro and small enterprises, as well as enhancing living standards for private households.

Project Objectives

EFSE concentrates on aiding local financial sectors in bolstering their capacity to offer sufficient and sustainable financing. The funding provided by EFSE primarily targets micro and small enterprises (MSEs), with additional support for private households through home improvement loans. These funds are disbursed to loan customers via local partner lending institutions.
