Project Description
In Phase II of the SME Finance Facility, the focus is on promoting local currency lending, especially for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) that do not earn foreign currency and face challenges with high borrowing expenses.
Project Objectives
Phase II focuses on building confidence among financial intermediaries to lend to SMEs and enhancing their ability to assess risks, while also strengthening local currency SME credit markets and supporting the development of market-based financial institutions.
