The EU is supporting SMEs through 100+ projects in the Eastern Partnership region

The AZTAF program offers various activities that match the four main focus areas of the EU-Azerbaijan Partnership Priorities: improving institutions and governance, boosting economic development and market access, enhancing connectivity and environmental efforts, and promoting mobility and interpersonal connections.

The project aims to enhance the competitiveness of Fruit and Vegetables Value Chains (F&V-VCs) in the Lankaran Astara Economic Region. The project seeks to boost the capacities of F&V-VCs operators by providing modern production, processing, logistics, and marketing services.

The aim of the project is to enhance the enabling environment for the forestry sector, ensuring long-term sustainability in forest management and fostering evidence-based policy-making within the sector.

The Project aims to assist Ukraine's Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food with Institutional and Policy Reform for Smallholder Agriculture, and the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources with forestry sector reforms.

The Mayors for Economic Growth (M4EG) initiative, a partnership between the EU and UNDP, supports mayors and their teams across the Eastern Partnership region.

The Action contributes to the general objectives of the Instrument, namely to support the SME segment in Eastern Partnership Countries through improving access to finance, in the form of enhanced lending terms and conditions, via providing first loss SME portfolio guarantees.

The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE), among the leading development finance funds globally, seeks to promote economic development and prosperity in Southeast Europe and the Eastern Neighbourhood Region.

The projct offers guidance to SMEs across various domains including strategy, operations, quality management, financial reporting, and energy efficiency, among others.
