Further in order to create an account in the Member Area we also ask you to provide personally identifiable information for the purpose of processing Expressions of Interest, Applications and other preparations for participants of a Business Mission.

How We Use The Data
EU4Business Initiative uses the collected data from the website for various purposes:
- To allow for the proper facilitation and management of the Business Missions and offering services under the scope of the EU4Business Initiative Programme.
- To allow you to have access to interactive features, such as social media liking and sharing buttons, embedded rich media content, when you choose to do so.
- To provide analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the website.
- To optimise the content of our website, as well as its related advertisement.
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues.
- To share information about the Programme and to further promote it to our target audience.
The EU4Business Initiative uses the collected data from accounts created in the Member Area to allow for proper facilitation and management of the Business Missions and offering services under the scope of the EU4Business Initiative Programme. This includes:
- Sending electronic notifications via email to the Member Area account holder of any data received via the Company Profile, Expression of Interest and Application form
- Sending electronic notifications via email to the Member Area account holder of results pertaining to an Expression of Interest and Application for a Business Mission
- Sending electronic notifications via email to the Member Area account holder pertaining to upcoming deadlines and actions to be completed in preparation of a Business Mission
Transfer Of Data
Your information, including Personal Data, is only shared with internal operators contractually bound to deliver the Business Missions and the respective activities. These operators are based in Europe as well as outside of Europe, and all process the data solely for the purpose of the EU4Business Initiative Programme in compliance with the EU’s Internal and General Data Protection Regulations [see respective regulations (EU) 2018/1725 and (EU) 2016/679]. None of the data is sold to third parties.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Data Retention
Data collected from the accounts created on the Member Area is retained only for the duration that is deemed necessary for the delivery of the service and no longer than until the end of the Programme duration.
