On a joint initiative, the European Union and the German Government announced three waves of grants for micro, small and medium-sized businesses through the #EU4Business programme. We invite businesses to submit applications, the financial aid is irreversible.

For whom: small and medium-sized enterprises with a staff of 11 to 100 employees

Acceptance of applications: from 28.07.2023 to 10.09.2023

For whom: micro-enterprises with a staff of 1 to 9 employees

Acceptance of applications: three internal waves with distribution by regions of Ukraine

  1. from 08.08.2023 to 21.08.2023
  2. from 22.08.2023 to 04.09.2023
  3. from 05.09.2023 to 18.09.2023

For whom: small businesses with 11 to 49 employees

Acceptance of applications: from 10.08.2023 to 10.09.2023

Background information:

The EU4Business microgrants will contribute to the goals of the Government’s initiative #eRobota implemented under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The grant schemes are provided within the international cooperation programme “EU4Business: SME Recovery, Competitiveness and Internationalisation” which is funded by the European Union and the German Government and implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The grant schemes are facilitated by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. Implementation partners (separately for each grant wave) are the Ukrainian Startup Fund, the Business Development Fund (in cooperation with authorized banks: Oschadbank, Bank Lviv and PrivatBank), the Foundation for Support of Reforms in Ukraine. It is possible to apply for a grant exclusively via a single portal of public services Diia. Information partners are the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office, the Ukrainian national project for entrepreneurship and export development Diia.Business.
