We are pleased to invite you to join the second Working Group meeting to support Georgia’s SME Development Strategy 2021-2025. The event will take place via Zoom on 12 March 2021 at 11:00 (Paris time) / 14:00 (Tbilisi time).
The project helps identifying priority actions and setting key performance indicators for the new SME Development Strategy through regular meetings of a public-private working group, reflecting on the lessons learned from the previous strategy and the findings of the latest SME Policy Index. It also provides methodological guidance to carry out the costing of action plans.
This Working Group meeting will discuss challenges and reform priorities for small and medium-sized enterprises in Georgia based on the initial draft of the SME Development Strategy 2021-2025. Project partners will offer feedback and initial recommendations for discussion with the members of the public-private Working Group. An initial assessment of the strategy’s targets, monitoring system and key performance indicators will also be presented.
The project is carried out within the framework of the EU4Business initiative, in co-operation with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the European Union and GIZ.
