EU4Business published six separate country reports, covering all EU support to SMEs in the six Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
The country reports provide detailed information about EU assistance per country across all three priority areas of the programme: access to finance, business development services and the business enabling environment.
Armenia
The EU disbursed €18.3 million in 2019 to support a total of nearly 8,330 SMEs in Armenia, a third of which are owned by women. This resulted in over 4,588 new jobs and €102.9 million in extra income generated by EU-supported SMEs in Armenia.
Azerbaijan
The EU disbursed €11.7 million in 2019 to support a total of nearly 9,198 SMEs in Azerbaijan, a third of which are owned by women. This resulted in over 3,931 new jobs and €58.4 million in extra income generated by EU-supported SMEs in Azerbaijan.

Belarus
The EU disbursed €8.5 million in 2019 to support a total of nearly 1,415 SMEs in Belarus, a third of which are owned by women. This resulted in over 4,563 new jobs and €60.9 million in extra income generated by EU-supported SMEs in Belarus.
Georgia
The EU disbursed €75.89 million in 2019 to support a total of nearly 36,234 SMEs in Belarus, a third of which are owned by women. This resulted in over 31,443 new jobs and €414.8 million in extra income generated by EU-supported SMEs in Georgia.
Moldova
The EU disbursed €25.8 million in 2019 to support a total of nearly 19,531 SMEs in Moldova, a third of which are owned by women. This resulted in over 21,930 new jobs and €345 million in extra income generated by EU-supported SMEs in Moldova.
Ukraine
In 2019, the EU disbursed €47.6 million to support a total of nearly 4,287 SMEs, a third of which are owned by women. This resulted in over 50,799 new jobs and €406 million in extra income generated by EU-supported SMEs in Ukraine.
