EBRD organising trade mission to France for light industry: companies invited to apply

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is organising a trade mission to France in February for eight Ukrainian light industry companies, funded by the European Union as part of its EU4Business initiative. Companies have until 21 November to apply.

The trade mission will take place from 12-13 February 2019, and is aimed at exploring the French market and the specifics of doing business there, trends in light industry and retail, as well as holding B2B meetings with potential customers.

This mission will include:

  • Establishing B2B contacts: the programme of meetings will be developed individually in cooperation with a professional French business advisor.
  • Research on market opportunities in France for Ukrainian light industry companies.
  • A series of visits to fashion stores in Paris for exchange of experience. Participants will be able to learn the best French practices, learn about the latest trends in merchandising, design and innovative services, as well as to become acquainted with the new retail concepts and fashion stores. In some stores, representatives of Ukrainian companies will have the opportunity to communicate with business managers and to present them materials and product samples.
  • Business visit to the Première Vision Show.

Interested companies must apply by 21 November. The maximum number of participants is 8 (all of whom will be chosen through individual interviews). Other applicants will be able to join the mission only as visitors.
