The EU-funded project on ‘Boosting competitiveness of regional SMEs’ in Armenia is organising a series of courses for SMEs in the food processing and tourism sectors in the regions of Lori, Syunik and Armavir.
The courses will be launched from July 2018, and each course will last 15 hours a period of 3 days.
By taking part in the courses, start-up and acting SMEs will improve their entrepreneurial skills and receive knowledge on food safety and HACCP principles, knowledge on dried fruits and vegetable production and proper business skills.
SMEs in tourism will acquire professional knowledge and relevant practical skills related to customer management and hospitality.
Experienced professionals will conduct the trainings in a highly interactive way including group discussion, role plays and case studies, and will share their knowledge to contribute to participants’ entrepreneurial skills.
The following courses will be available in the following cities:
Yerevan city

Lori region, Vanadzor city, Alaverdi city

The EU4Business project ‘Boosting competitiveness of regional SMEs’ is implemented by the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Centre of Armenia (SME DNC), Armavir Development Centre, Strategic Development Agency, Spitak-Farmer, and Syun NGOs. The overall objective of the project is to boost the competitiveness of regional SMEs and create sustainable employment opportunities in Lori, Syunik and Armavir regions of Armenia.
