12 businesses can get €480,000 for export development and innovation from EU4Business

Recruitment for the program is open for Ukrainian businesses that create products or services with a focus on export and/or innovation.

12 small and medium-sized enterprises can receive up to €40,000 each as well as consulting support under the EU4Business: Recovery, Competitiveness and Internationalization of SMEs programme from the EU and Germany.

You can submit an application until June 25, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. on the website.

Who can apply?

Small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the following sectors:

  • processing industry (food, light industry, mechanical engineering, construction, furniture manufacturing, etc.);
  • creative industry (fashion, design and others);
  • other industries, not mentioned above, with export and innovation potential.

Priority will be given to enterprises that adhere to the principles of circular economy, green economy, ecologically clean production, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.

What does the project offer?

  • group and individual consultations from experts, networking sessions and other activities that will help identify and eliminate processes blocking your business on the way to export and innovative development;
  • grants of up to 40,000 euros.

To participate in the project, SMEs shall additionally pay their own contribution in the amount of 20% to the total amount grant.

What can the grant support be used for?

  • export promotion;
  • research and development (R&D);
  • testing and verification;
  • certification;
  • registration and protection of intellectual property rights;
  • marketing and consulting services;
  • purchase of equipment (no more than 50% of grant funds) and other expenses (upon agreement).
