Initiative “EU4Business: SME Competitiveness and Internationalisation”, which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of EU and German government, invites cities and local communities to participate in the call for proposals on SME support during COVID-19 pandemic.
Objective of the call is to support the self-governments in the implementation of actions aimed at mitigating the negative impact of lockdown on SMEs, with the special accent on businesses with export potential and innovations. Number of inhabitants in interested local communities must be in the approximately 100 000 -
270 000 range. Local communities with number of inhabitants less than 100 000 could take part in the call upon condition of joint application with other communities to reach total number of inhabitants not less than 100 000.
