From 21-23 February, wine producers, tasters, sommeliers, journalists, buyers and members of this hospitality industry will gather in Chisinau for ExpoVin Moldova 2018, a specialised exhibition covering all the contemporary wine and wine industries in Moldova.
As part of the event, the Black Sea Region Wines & Spirits Contest 2018 will bring together experts and tasters from 16 states. There will also be a tasting room, a business area for B2B meetings, and a public talk with the Master of Wine and the Master Sommelier.
On February 23, there will be tastings of all of the competition's samples for project participants and VIP guests, buyers, representatives of commercial and HoReCa networks, sommeliers and the media.
Partners of the event include the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OVI) & the Union of Oenologists of Moldova (U.OE.M.).
Through its Filière du vin programme between 2014 and 2016, the EU4Business initiative and the European Investment Bank supported the Moldovan government’s Wine Sector Restructuring Programme, with loans, capacity building and industry support and networking.
