An information day on EU funding opportunities for innovative SMEs is being organised by the EBRD and EU4Business in Kyiv on 18 October.
The event – ‘How it works: Horizon 2020 & COSME for innovative SMEs’ – is aimed at companies with innovative ideas, technologies and know-how looking to target international markets, and consultants who help SMEs develop their businesses.
The purpose of the event is to find out how to access funding and to provide information about opportunities for international cooperation between scientists, business and industry from around the world.
Speakers include companies that have won grants for their inventions, experts who are directly engaged in the selection and assessment of applications, and national contact centres.
Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020).
